Prince Somsanith made his U.S. debut in January 2004.
His first stop was Washington, D.C., where he showcased his embroidery work in
a textile exposition, a fundraiser for the Laotian community in the area.
Two weeks later, the traveling exhibit headed to Seattle's Wingluke Asian
Art Museum and City Hall.
In April of 2004, Tiao Somsanith returned to Washington D.C., where he
once again wowed audiences at Radio Free Asia (RFA).
A couple of days later, he hosted a reception at Sharon Fine Gallery.
